Campus resources

The university's facilities include a central library with more than 80,000 books, fully furnished 1000-seat auditorium, seven student hostels and one teachers hostel, housing society for employees, transport, industry liaison, English language center, a medical centre, mosques, cafeterias, a cricket ground and other indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Most of the laboratories and workshops of the teaching departments are properly equipped and practical; demonstration training is imparted to the students wherever applicable. Continuous efforts are ongoing to upgrade these facilities for the practical training and new equipment is acquired for this purpose. Additionally, training to the concerned staff is organized in and outside the university. In some cases, where the training facilities are not available, students are sent to suitable institutes in Karachi or elsewhere to undergo training. Every department has been provided personal computers, e-mail and Internet facilities for the training and use of students and teaching staff.

Hostel facilities are available for about 1,100 students on the campus which are walking distance from the teaching departments. These hostels are equipped with necessary facilities including bathrooms, reading rooms, game rooms, dining halls, etc.
